The Unforgivable
I believe that if a warlord kidnaps children, and forcing them to be soldiers or sex slaves should not be forgiven. What there did was unmoral and wrong. They scared those kids both physical and mentally for life. Imagine what it would be like to be a sex slave? To have sex with one or multiple people against their will, often rape at first. Then as there will die, there just give up and let want ever happens to them. Now, if your where a soldier, then there would be beaten, force to kill, and force to grow up. And if there ever escape, there will be the nightmares to dill with. All they would know is how to kill. That is why it is unforgivable.

I believe that you should plan how to spend your philanthropic money responsibly, not willy nilly. According to "What Should a Billionaire Give-and What Should You?" by Petter Singer, Bill Gates gave $30 billion to a charities that he started to help get vaccines to children in 3rd world country's but there are still dying because of those diseases. The reason that children are still dying is because of the poor living conditions that there live in. The living conditions that there live in is so bad that there will either die of starvation or just cash it again. So it is a waste to just buy the medince, you should also work on the living conditions too. Like get clean water to them and good food. So why don't we spend our money responsibly.

Mean
"Mean"
By Taylor Swift
By Taylor Swift
You,
with your words like knives
And swords and weapons that you use against me
You have knocked me off my feet again
Got me feeling like I'm nothing
You, with your voice like nails on a chalkboard
Calling me out when I'm wounded
You picking on the weaker man
You can take me down with just one single blow
But you don't know, what you don't know...
Someday I'll be living in a big ol' city
And all you're ever gonna be is mean
Someday I'll be big enough so you can't hit me
And all you're ever gonna be is mean
Why you gotta be so mean?
You, with your switching sides
And your wildfire lies and your humiliation
You have pointed out my flaws again
As if I don't already see them
I walk with my head down
Trying to block you out 'cause I'll never impress you
I just wanna feel okay again
I bet you got pushed around
Somebody made you cold
But the cycle ends right now
'Cause you can't lead me down that road
And you don't know, what you don't know...
Someday I'll be living in a big ol' city
And all you're ever gonna be is mean
Someday I'll be big enough so you can't hit me
And all you're ever gonna be is mean
Why you gotta be so mean?
And I can see you years from now in a bar
Talking over a football game
With that same big loud opinion
But nobody's listening
Washed up and ranting about the same old bitter things
Drunk and grumbling on about how I can't sing
But all you are is mean
All you are is mean
And a liar, and pathetic, and alone in life
And mean, and mean, and mean, and mean
But someday I'll be living in a big ol' city
And all you're ever gonna be is mean, yeah
Someday I'll be big enough so you can't hit me
And all you're ever gonna be is mean
Why you gotta be so?..
Someday I'll be living in a big ol' city (Why you gotta be so?..)
And all you're ever gonna be is mean (Why you gotta be so?..)
Someday I'll be big enough so you can't hit me (Why you gotta be so?..)

Have
you ever listen to a song that others don’t like because they don’t get the
meaning? These people are showing their ignorant by make fun of the song. Well
Taylor Swift’s song Mean is a good
example. She sings about bullying, but states you should ignore the bullies
because in the future you will have a great job and a better life than they
ever will. Bullies will never advance, but stage in the same town talking about
the same stuff and nobody is listing to them.
She
tells us that their words are like weapons to one’s self esteem. She sings
about the cycle of bully and how she is going to stop it at her. She tells us that
she refusing to be a bully and she is going to make something of herself. She
said, “Someday I’ll be living in a big ol’ city, And all you’re ever gonna be
is mean, Someday I’ll be big enough so you can’t hit me, And all you’re ever
gonna be is mean, Why you gotto be so mean?” Why people are mean?
The
music video shows a guy getting bullied by a bunch of jocks. At the end he is a
fashion designer. Later on there’s a teen that works at a restaurant and got
things thrown at her, but at the end she is the boss. Then a little girl tries
to fit in. I have tried to fit in but often gotten bullied for it. In the music
video she just wants to know, “why are you so mean?” I also ask the same thing,
why do people have to be so mean?
I learned
that Taylor Swift writes/sings about things that happen to her. So she was
bullied. In the song, music video, and at the Grammys she tells her bullies
off. So all though I usually don’t listen to this kind of music, I still like
this song. It has good morals, and although the video is kind of upsetting, it
is funny at the same time. If someone doesn’t like the song or make fun of it,
then there don’t understand what it is trying to say.

Narcissus and Echo
The man is Narcissus and the woman is Echo, it is the scene when Narcissus is memorize my his reflection. It shows you have vain Narcissus is. He is so vain that he does not notice Echo is across the stream half naked. Which most guys would of notice along time ago. That is what I think the picture means.

Is
Being Rich Really All That
“Richard
Cory” by Edwin Arlington Robinson
"Whenever Richard Cory went down town,
We people on the pavement looked at him:
He was a gentleman from sole to crown,
Clean favored, and imperially slim.
And he was always quietly arrayed,
And he was always human when he talked;
But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
"Good-morning," and he glittered when he walked.
And he was rich—yes, richer than a king,
And admirably schooled in every grace:
In fine, we thought that he was everything
To make us wish that we were in his place.
So on we worked, and waited for the light,
And went without the meat, and cursed the bread;
And Richard Cory, one calm summer night,
Went home and put a bullet through his head."

A lot of people read this poem and are either astonished or laughs
at it, but it also makes you think. You never think about rich people being suicidal
or even depressed. Most think just because someone has money that they are
happy. In the poem, everyone wishes they
where him, yet they choose not to get to know him. The town’s people cursed the
fact that they had no meat, yet they have friends and he had none. They wish
they where him, but he wishes he was one of them. Most people would never think
of the rich as being depress, I thought that once, but then I read this and I
will never think the same. The poem has a good lesson. A song has even been written
about it with the same name. Simon and Garfunkel wrote it in the late sixties.
Looks can be very deceiving, the poorest people can be the happiest while the
richest are so depress that they kill themselves, like Richard Cory. Don’t
people ever remember that old saying, “Sometimes the poor are richer than the richest
man alive.” The saying means that happiness is more important than money. We
all wish we had more money, but is there such thing as too much money? Some may
agree with me, while others may not. But
a man like Richard would probably agree with me, that being rich isn’t
everything. So next time you walk by a person you think is better off than you,
stop and talk to them. They may not be
as happy as you think. Maybe all they
really need to be happy is to be your friend.
Don’t be like the people in this poem.

My Bucket List 2012-2013
1.Destined by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast
I read the complete series and loved it. The ideal of a vampire school was a awsome one. I just hope that this is not the last book.
2. The Fledgling Handbook 101 by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast
I read most of the series so far (look at number 1), and I love it. I figure the handbook will be a good read. I just love the author.
3.The Slayer Chroncles Frist Kill by Heather Brewer
I read the Vladimir Tod series and loved it, so I figure why not try it. I always wondered the slayer's side of the story. Vladimir Tod is awesome.
3.D.N.Angel 2-5 by Yukiru Sugisaki
I have seen the anime and was interested in finding it in book form, because most anime are usually baste off a book series.
4.The Legend of Drizzt Exile by R.A. Salvatore
I read this book and loved it, but I can't ever find books by this author. He was recommended to me by my older brother, Mark. I just can't find it.
5.Frankenstein by Mary W. Shelley
I picked this one because it was a classic and it sounded interesting. I have herd summaries of it before, but never actually read it, so I thought why not.
6.Dracula by Bram Stoker
You won't believe how may books and shows make reference to this book, and. I wanted to know why. I started reading it during the summer, but got distracted.
